This morning, I've watched AFC (Asian Food Channel) and there was this episode of `Cupcake Girls` who have been into business and its real world scenarios - in debt, retailer just got quit from a contract, parent's support were absent, stocks on warehouse that needs to be - but on top of all these they still did make it. So I noted the business key points and practical ways they have shared during the interview:

(1) Don't enter into the business without a PLAN. Oh, no I think I have to start thinking about it and plan...
(2) Don't enter into a business you know nothing about. Aha, head knowledge is important. It's not just the passion of doing things but the theory behind the things.
(3) Don't do business with friends.

I think I need to think it over. It's time, it's time.

So help me Lord.


I was also able to watch Dr. Vicky Belo about her talk on a local business show. The most important thing that have captured my attention is her statement, "Without God I cannot do it, without Him blessing me on how to do things I cannot make it." Yes, this is definitely true. I may have the God given talents and skills, but without God everything is meaningless. Truly, without Him (Jesus) I can't do anything.

So help me Lord.

Today, I can say that this is not an easy one. The company of which I am employed announced a not so good news about the upcoming future organizational restructure. I've have this feeling of I might be one of the enlisted, so I ask the Lord to "hold up my fears and tears, that whatever happens God will remain to be faithful." I know this might be tough time just like what had happened before. Though as much as I don't want these things to happen again and again, but who am I to resist the change.

Dear Lord,
The path of which I am taking right now might be a blind one - still a dark one. I don't know the end. I don't know where it would lead. But one thing is for sure, together we can make it. Hold me Lord, thank you for not leaving me specially in these dark hours of my life.

Dream House - The Library

One of my favorite spot on the house, the library.

Recently, I get addicted to reading books even care to register at goodreads.com
Books are real friends. Just as it has been said, "acquire wisdom no matter how much will it cost you..." I think that was written in Proverbs, one of the books in the Bible, and at the latter part "wisdom will exalt you..." This is really true, if you know much about something, you can share it and name the price but I'm not saying that money should be your ultimate motivator to get wisdom - but getting wisdom itself.

When we acquire our own house and lot at Katarungan, Muntinlupa I'll definitely have this area.

I am imagining myself staying at that couch, looking at the window while holding a book. I think this is also good place for prayer and commune with the Lord.
