Yeah, today I had the chance to line-up for the 50% off offer at French Baker here at Eastwood. It happens every night according to the cashier starting from 9pm. The queue could be long as early as 8:30pm but today I was lucky enough to be 5th on the line.
I was wondering what to buy because it's my first time. I was even calculating how much will it all worth at the back of my head while standing and waiting for the line to move. It was a bit feeling of excitement and somehow felt nervous hoping that I could still get the bread that I want. Preferably, I'd like to have the plain bread since I'd like to match it with my experimented spreads which were seating on the fridge few days ago.
But to my surprise and I thank God I've made it. I had the "Oven baked bread" (which were not able to be sliced since the baker said that "no slicing during 50% off" rule is being implemented), freshly baked raisins bread, butter croissants and vulvet. Everything costs me P148 box and I can say it's worth the money because of the big discounts I've had.
Thank you French Baker for this awesome treat. It's better to give it half the price than to be seen thrown or wasted. And now, I'll start tasting them but I'll keep some pieces for daddy's baon tomorrow.
