My First Baking Experience

Oplan Herbs Project

Go for organic and fresh herbs just few steps from your backyard.

This is definitely one of the inline projects I have for this year, 2012.

'Coz it almost feel me bad when I'm buying almost rotten herbs at supermarket. They are not fresh but it still pricey. So I decided, let me try to plant herbs on our patio.

Here is what I have in my mind:
1. Goal Setting
2. Planning - structure, herbs to plant, specific location
3. Suppliers - soil, herbs/seeds, pots/containers

So help me God.

Then I Did

It took a lot of faith and prayer before I've finally accepted the challenge - to conduct a brown bag session.

I could never forget that day. This is one of the victorious days of my life that once again God have proven His faithfulness. It is one of my prayer requests to God that I wanna see Him inside the training room that it is He who shall speak and talk about "Factory Pattern", the topic that was assigned for me to teach.

At first I was hesitant to do it because I am afraid of a lot of things. The fear of failure, embarassment, and the feeling of insecurity somehow envelops my whole being, dictating me that I will not be able to do it. With two consecutive "needs-improvement" rating, who would on earth will still have the guts to leave the comfort seashore and face the gigantic waves to prove one's capacity to do so.
If only I could wish that I can escape it but still receive a rewarding career performance rating.

But on that day (August 10, 2012 at 4PM - 9PM), I have realized I was wrong and proven that God is GOD, He really meant what He said. I am child of God, a believer and one of His faithful servants. Then if I believe that God is my miracle, my hope and my deliverance then it should be clearly seen on my actions. I should remember that faith without works is dead.

Truly, you must conquer your giants. The battle is already won, but you must be there. Simply to witness how God works in many wonderful ways, that He will even show you that NOTHING is impossible with Him.

Lord, thank You for never failing me. Thank You that in spite of all of my unbelief and shortcomings, still You are faithful in all of your promises. You are really awesome. This is for you.
